How my student led conference affected my education
My SLC went well. In preparation for this experience, I gathered all of my evidence together beforehand and made note cards for each class. However, I did lose several of my note cards in my backpack, so I did have to dig through it and find those cards. The SLC definitely made me own up to my grades, classwork, homework, and my overall educational experience because I had to present my evidence to my parents. Since the SLC, my parents and I have looked at my grades on power school several times, but my Mom tends to look at my grades without me too. Overall, the SLC was a great experience for me and was not as nerve wracking as I thought it would be.
